The HCWG is an African-led initiative supporting governments to design domestic, sustainable HIV financing, protect equity, and develop costed transition roadmaps that put communities at the centre of programming.

This is Africa’s defining moment, the opportunity to build resilient, sustainable, and domestically resourced HIV and broader health systems. Africa must lead with boldness, accountability, and vision, and extend beyond governments to include communities, academia, civil society, and the private sector.
